Powerhouse Electronic Imaging     With 50 years of experience, Powerhouse has made a career out of making the impossible, possible for our clients.      December 28, 2005 Dear friend, The rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated! Many of you have already contacted us (apparently our competition – and some of our former employees - have been banging on your doors en masse). All we wanted to do was merge or joint-venture with a good company. We are faced with having to close the doors on our Beverly Blvd. location as of January 1st. The losses over the last five years have become staggering and were just more than we could bear. This, coupled with our inability to find people who seriously wanted to work and learn…no chance. In addition, 33 years on Beverly Blvd. where the rents are astronomical, makes it difficult to continue competing, and is another issue that added to our tremendous losses. In today’s market, with the Internet, DSL, FTP, E-mail, etc., it’s not necessary to be centrally located. The good news is Powerhouse Imaging/Stat House has moved in with PhotoCenter Imaging* in Burbank. They’re a 40+ year old company doing conventional and digital work. We find that they have the same philosophy and care about maintaining quality as we have so proudly accomplished. I will be Executive Vice President of Trade Shows, Exhibits, Museum Specialties, et al. My present phone number and email and fax will remain the same. I am available 24/7, as always. We truly appreciate the friendship, loyalty and confidence you’ve given us over the many years, and we look forward to many more years to come. With the backup of a larger facility of competent players, 2006 looks great. Buddy Berke will continue to be a consultant and participant, as his health permits. And, I will have more time to personally service you.
